Edward Perez led the way in the scoring column for the Hawks in this one. The duo combined to score 60 percent of the team's points in the contest, with 17 and 16 points, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hilbert grabbed an early lead on a layup from Briggs exactly one minute into the contest, but a quick answer on a three-pointer erased what would be the Hawks' only lead of the game.
- The Lions scored 15 straight points to give them an early 17-4 advantage.
- Behrend held a double-digit lead for much of the first half, but a late push by Hilbert made it an eight-point advantage heading into the halftime break.
- The Lions came out of the break determined to hold onto the lead, scoring the first seven points of the second half.
- A quick 5-0 run from Briggs brought the lead back down to eight. Hilbert cut the lead to as little as six points, but the Lions refused to let the game get any closer.
- A 12-0 run extended the lead to 18 points and all but put this one away with 6:39 to go.
- The teams traded buckets to end the contest and give the Lions the 16-point road conference victory.
