HAMBURG, N.Y. – Abigail Dent headlines the six Hilbert student-athletes who were recognized today when the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) released the 2023 Fall All-Sportsmanship team.
 

In addition to the Player/Newcomer/Coach of the Year and All-Conference honors that are announced at the conclusion of each sport season, the AMCC continues to promote and recognize sportsmanship within the ten-institution membership group.

The All-Sportsmanship Team members are chosen by a vote of their own teammates within each institution.  Each award winner is selected based on their high level of ethical conduct, respect and fair play in both practice and competition.

Graduate-student Abigail Dent (Cross Country) collected her second All-Sportsmanship honor for the Women's Cross Country program on top of the one honor received in 2022 from the Softball team.

Junior Courtney Geier (Soccer) and junior Matthew Whelan (Golf) each earned their second Sportsmanship honor during their tenure as a Hawk.

Other congratulations are extended to junior Nick Baritot (Cross Country), sophomore Beckham Blair (Soccer), and sophomore Jessee Jonathan (Volleyball) were all recognized for the first time in their Hilbert career.
