HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams traded buckets to start, with Keuka's first and only lead of the game coming off of a three-pointer to make it a 5-2 game less than two minutes into the contest.
- Hilbert quickly grabbed control of the game with a pair of threes from Briggs to take a seven-point lead and force a Keuka timeout.
- The Hawks maintained a double-digit lead for most of the half, leading by as many as 14 points.
- However, a quick 6-0 run by the Wolves cut the lead to just four with a little over a minute remaining in the half.
- Perez grabbed the momentum right back with a big three-point-play with under a minute to go. Demery, who controlled the offensive glass all day, scored a put-back layup just before halftime to extend the Hilbert lead to nine heading into the break.
- Keuka would cut the lead to six points early in the second half, but the domination in the paint by Hilbert eliminated any real comeback attempt.
- Hilbert established a 20-point advantage with around three minutes to go and grabbed a few more buckets to cap off the 92-70 victory.
