BRADFORD, Pa. - John Riviere-Vejas extended his league-leading stolen base count with four more stolen bases today in the Hawks afternoon doubleheader sweep at Pitt-Bradford to set a new single-season program record with 21 bags on the spring.

Game One:
* The Panthers got off to a hot start in game one. Starter Alex Fetter put up a zero in the top of the first and then immediately put up three runs off two hits and an error to take an early 3-0 lead.
* Hilbert responded in the second with three runs off a Samuel Mullen 2-RBI double and a John Riviere-Vejas RBI to tie the score up at 3-3.
* After a pair of zeros from both sides, the Panthers tagged starter Camerin Holmes for a pair of runs in the fourth to take a 5-3 lead.
* The Hawks then turned to the bullpen by way of Griffin McAndrews who continued his strong play with 1.2 shutout innings, followed by Brendan Walsh who closed out the game with a pair of scoreless innings and added two strikeouts.
* While the Hawks pen stymied the Panthers attack, the offense went to work scoring 10 runs over the final three frames to earn a 13-5 victory.
* Griffin McAndrews was credited with his first win of the season, while the bullpen combined to throw 3.2 shutout innings of relief.
* Thomas Evans led the offense with a 3 for 4 performance with two doubles, two RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases. Samuel Mullen also had a big performance at the plate going 2 for 3 with a double, walk, three RBI and two runs scored. Santino Turello added a pair of hits and Jonathan Wilson reached base safely three times via walk.
Game Two:
* The Hawks put together a staff performance for the ages in the nightcap. Brendan Walsh took the mound first going the first two innings in shutout fashion, allowing just one hit while the sticks went back to work.
* The Hilbert offense put up four runs over the first three innings to build an early 4-0 lead heading into the bottom of the third.
* Coach Fittry turned to William Hudson, marking his first career appearance sporting the royal and white. Hudson was electric. Over four innings of work, the right-hander allowed just one hit and struck out two batters to help the Hawks to a 7-0 lead through six innings of play.
* Zackory Panfil and Jordan Brown would close out the final three innings in shutout fashion, to secure a nine inning, four-hit shutout.
* William Hudson was credited with his first career win on the mound.
* Samuel Mullen continued his hot streak going 3 for 4 with three RBI and a walk. Jonathan Wilson, John Riviere-Vejas and Jairo Santos each added a pair of hits.
* John Riviere-Vejas added three stolen bases in the game after swiping one in game one to give him 21 stolen bases on the season to lead the AMCC.
