HAMBURG, N.Y.- The Hilbert College Hawks hockey team faced off against Arcadia University today in their first ever home game. On this special night the Hawks fell to Arcadia by a score of 4-0.
What Happened- The Hawks fought hard in the first period trying to give their fans a good show for the first time live. They conceded 2 goals in the first period thanks to the great play of goalie
Tia Card. She played outstanding making 54 saves. She managed to keep Arcadia scoreless in second but unfortunately conceded 2 more in the third period. The Hawks helped defensively as well blocking many shots.
Kayla Myers and
Jacqueline Alaburda both blocked 5 shots to help out their netminder.
Up Next- Hilbert plays again tomorrow against Arcadia again at Leisure Rinks. Puck drop is at 11:30.
