CANTON, N.Y. - The Hilbert College Hawks hockey team traveled up to the northern part of the state to play against the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton.Â
The Kangaroos controlled play for the majority of the game with their offensive zone pressure. The Roos tallied 2 goals in the first, 4 in the second, and 2 in the third.Â
The best offensive opportunity came on a strong forecheck by Abby MacNeil who slid the puck out from behind the net to defender Kayla Myers for the one timer. Jacqueline Alaburda was named player of the game for her stellar defensive performance. Tia Card played outstanding in net once again, making 67 saves.Â
