HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's soccer team suffered a 4-1 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference loss to Penn State Altoona this afternoon on the Hawks Varsity Field.

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Altoona found the back of the net early in the game, scoring off a cross from the deep corner to the box in the third minute.
• The Lions added a second hit 23 minutes later, going up by a two-goal margin.
• Hilbert's Macy Kisner stayed with the play and continued to fight for a look at the frame in the later part of the first half.  She found room to fire a hard shot past the Lions goalie just before the 29th minute and sliced the difference to one.
• Altoona connected twice in the second half and pulled away in the 68th minute with the fourth goal of the game.

GAME NOTES

• The Hawks continued to look for Kisner on attack.  She was able to use her speed to get past defenders in a loose-ball situations but got smothered by Lion defenders as she tried to create looks. 
• Kisner and Hannah Brock combined for Hilbert's four shots with Kisner tagged with both shots on goal.
• Tahlia Kosek was credited with six saves before Haylee Jozwiak finished the game in goal.
