AURORA, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's soccer team dominated the stat line today when they earned the team's first win of the season at Wells College. The Hawks, who had been in the driver's seat late in other games this fall, didn't let the non-conference match slip away; they earned a hard-fought victory and extended their win streak against the Express to four consecutive victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams went to intermission after battling to a score-less first half with Tahlia Kosek earning her sixth start in goal.
- The Hawks rotated Kosek to a field player and inserted Haylee Jozwiak into goal at the start of the second half.
- Hilbert built a 9-1 advantage in shots in the first half. They continued to fire away in the second session, adding 15 more by the final horn.
- Hilbert attempted six corner kicks in a 20-minute span leading up to Amber Stuck's PK score at 75:40. The Hawks continued to attack the frame and earned a second PK attempt in the 86th minute, which went wide.
GAME NOTES
- The Hawks held an 18-3 lead in shots on goal and went 1-for-2 in penalty kicks.
- Eight different Hawks attempted Shots today, led by Amber Stuck's game-high nine. Macy Kisner added eight shots, with seven on-target.
- Haylee Jozwiak earned her first collegiate win in goal while making all three Hilbert saves in the final session.

Hilbert returns to AMCC action next week when they welcome Medaille College to the Varsity Field for a 2:00pm kick October 6th. This contest will be Medaille's final AMCC soccer game against Hilbert since the Mavericks will be moving to the Empire 8 conference at the start of the next academic year.
