HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Hawks found themselves down (10-2) early in the opening session, but an 11-6 Hilbert run, fueled by Ashley Schroeder and Alesia Hamm, pulled them right back into the game. Schroder's seven points book-ended Hamm's six points as the Hawks trailed 16-13.

- Hilbert found the bottom of the net three times before intermission with all six points credited to Macy Kisner. The Hawks went to their locker room at half time trailing 37-19.
- The Hawks continued to struggle offensively in the third and fourth quarters as Kendyl Kerner (3-point play), Hamm and Kisner combined for Hilbert's seven points in the 3rd and Zabawa and Kisner tallied five in the final quarter.

- Neither team shot the ball well from beyond the arc, but the Wildcats did all their damage in the paint and the foul line.
- Schroeder hit her 3-pointer in the first quarter and Kisner struck in the 4th.
- Hilbert finished the game connecting on 24-percent of their field goal attempts and only went to the foul line seven times, sinking five. The Hawks grabbed 32 rebounds and were credited with nine steals off SUNY Poly's 14 turnovers.
- The Wildcats converted on 42.6-percent of their shots from the floor, mainly in the paint. They doubled the Hawks from the foul line, hitting 15-of-26 and forced 25 Hilbert turnovers.
