BUFFALO, N.Y. – In a highly anticipated Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match pitting cross-town rivals, the Medaille College men's soccer team came out on top with a 4-0 win over the visiting Hilbert College Hawks October 2.
The Mavericks started the game aggressively, putting constant pressure on Hilbert's defensive half of the field. Less than ten minutes later, a ball sent to the box found its way to back of the net giving Medaille a 2-0 lead by half.
After about 20 minutes of action in the second half, and over the course of 87-seconds, Medaille knocked in two more goals to finish the scoring action for the day.
