HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Hilbert College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the Hilbert College Athletes of the Week for the week of August 31, 2026.
Keira McFarland (Women's Soccer) and
Jordan Austin (Women's Volleyball) were each recognized for their athletic performances during their respective team's contests last week.
Keira McFarland (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) started all three of the Hawks' games last week between the pipes, stopping 27 total shots across the contests. McFarland began the week with 12 and 13 save performances against Buff State and SUNY Poly, before helping Hilbert to a 2-0 victory over Paul Smith's College with a two save shutout. The clean sheet, the seventh of McFarland's career, moved the senior goalkeeper into sole possession of fifth on the program's all-time leaderboard.
Jordan Austin (Cassadaga, NY/Cassadaga Valley) led the Hawks' offense in a 2-2 week that included a pair of wins at the Keuka Invitational. Austin posted a team-high 23 kills and was second on the team with 35 digs and 26 points on the week. The senior outside hitter also added a pair of service aces, an assist, and a solo block.
