Freshman Thomas Roty (Clarence, NY/Clarence), in only his second collegiate race, established a new Hilbert Men's Cross Country record after his impressive finish at a very competitive Harry F. Anderson race hosted by Roberts Wesleyan September 27.

His 27:34.8 time placed him 86th overall in a field of 251 entries. Earlier this fall, Roty set the Hilbert 5K record and now owns both records after only two races.
