Hunter Martineau led the Hawks to a 2-1 record this week and earned his first Hawk of the Week honor today.

The 5-10 point guard scored 45 points, distributed 18 assists and grabbed 18 rebounds in the opening week of hoops.  He averaged 15 points, six assists and six rebounds per game in Hilbert’s 77-74 victory over Grove City, their 79-63 win against Waynesburg and the 78-75 loss to Utica in the title game of the Hawks Against Hunger Tournament.

The Junior from Orlando, FL finished the week with an impressive 63% shooting from the field and 83.3% from the free throw line.

Martineau notched his first double-double of the season against Waynesburg with a 13-point, 11-rebound effort in only 26 minutes of action and earned a spot on the Hawks Against Hunger All-Tournament team.
