Hilbert College Athletics

Larry Morse helped the Hawks extend their win streak with a pair of victories against Empire 8 opponents last week.  Hilbert claimed an 84-79 win at Houghton University before returning to Hamburg for a 30-point trounce against Elmira College.  

Larry Morse (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) was a force in the lane showing up with strength and confidence. The 6'5 forward was one rebound shy of extending his double-double average through six games.  

He tossed in 31 points and grabbed 19 rebounds along with three blocks to average 15.1 points and 9.5 rebounds.. Morse connected on 13-of-25 field goal attempts (.52 percent) and matched his defensive rebounds with as many, if not more, offensive rebounds (10 offensive/9 defensive).  

Morse currently leads the AMCC with 11 rebounds per game as well as 5.7 offensive rebounds per game average.
