Samantha Heppel (Angola, NY/home schooled |Jamestown CC|Erie CC) was a consistent performer for the Hawks who battled through three doubleheaders last week. 

The 5-4 junior INF led the Hawks through a 2-4 record, splitting their series against Alfred State and Keuka before dropping two at Penn State Altoona.  Heppel finished the week with eight hits, including a triple, .556 slug percentage, six runs, three RBIs off a .444 batting average.  She played the hot corner most of the time, but stepped out to centerfield and pitched last week. 

Heppel went 4-for-4, scored one run and knocked in a run in Hilbert's 12-1 nightcap win over Keuka.
