Avery Cusack (Fultonville NY/Fonda Fultonville) earned her first Hawk of the Week honor for basketball.

The 5'2 sophomore-eligible guard was instrumental in helping the women's basketball team take a 70-68 overtime road win at Carlow University recording a career-high 16 rebounds after 45-minutes of action. She averaged eight points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and 2.3 steals for the Hawks who went 2-1 last week.

Cusack earned her first career double double in her rookie year with the Hawks, scoring a career-best 12 points while pulling down 13 rebounds at Mount Aloysius.
