Freshman midfielder Carter Burke has proven himself to be a key cog in the men's soccer team's success this fall. The rookie from Rockland, MA (Rockland), a starter since day-one, posted 3.5 points in the Hawks' split series last week. He connected off a quality free kick to open the scoring against Medaille (L, 5-1) September 19th and then went 2-for-2 in penalty kicks against Wells (W, 4-1) September 21st. Burke closed the week with four shots on goal and converted at a .750 rate with hits lifting the Men's Soccer team to a 3-3-2 record early in the season.
