Hilbert College Athletics

Courtney Geier was named the Hilbert Hawk of the Week September 7th. 
  
The freshman defender anchored the back line in the women’s soccer season opener at Elmira September 4.   In her first career game for the Hawks, the rookie from Sherburne, NY (Sherburne Earlville) stopped multiple attacks from the Soaring Eagles before they could even get organized. 

She was strong in the air and was fearless when going into tackles.  Even though the results was an 1-0 OT loss in the 99th minute, Geier was a key component in keeping the Hawks in the game while giving them a chance to win.
