Emily Gawlak earned her first Hawk of the Week honor after leading the women’s basketball team in their season opening game over the weekend.

The 5-6 senior guard tossed in 16 points in the Hawks road loss (83-49) at SUNY Geneseo November 8.

Gawlak went 5-for-5 from the charity stripe, sank five buckets from the floor (one 3-pointer) and was credited with two assists, three rebounds and one steal in 39-minutes of action.
