John Macchia was Mr. Consistent to open the Hilbert Golf season. He started the week shooting an 84 at the Gowanda Country Club in the Hilbert Invitational helping the Hawks capture a 4th place finish. Then, two days later, he worked a very challenging Summit Country Club course for a team best 77 (just 10 strokes behind the medalist). And, in an early 8am match September 9th, he raced to an 85 finish at the Sinking Valley Country Club. For the week, the junior from Orchard Park, NY averaged an 82 on three separate par 72 courses.
