Jerame Owens racked up another impressive week for the men’s basketball team. He averaged 17.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.6 steals in 27 minutes a game as the Hawks pushed through the AMCC play-offs to the championship game. Owens posted 13 points (six of seven shooting) in the 1st Round victory over Greensburg. The sophomore forward followed that performance with a 21 point, 11 rebound effort in the semi-final neutral site win over Medaille. Owens produced 19 points, pulled in 12 rebounds, passed out four assists, grabbed one steal and blocked one shot in the championship loss to Penn State Behrend. During the 2-1 week, Owens gave the Hawks 69% FG shooting and 70.8% from the foul line.
