Alex Karamanos hustled his way to his first Hawk of the Week honor last week.

The junior college transfer has worked his way into the starting line-up and saw 24 minutes of action in Hilbert’s 81-66 road loss to the AMCC league leaders, La Roche College last week.

Karamanos gave the Hawks eight points and five rebounds but it was his extra effort without the ball that earned him a Hawk of the Week nod since joining the team this year.
