Rachel Allen dominated the circle over the weekend and earned her first Hawk of the Week honor.

The rookie pitcher covered 11 innings with a 3.82 era in two complete games during the week.

The Tonawanda native closed the week with 10 strike-outs in five inning game against Franciscan getting nine batters swinging.  She knocked down six straight batters, stretched from the 1^st inning through to the third inning, all on swings.

Early in the week, Allen went the distance against Medaille in an 8-7 loss, giving up five earned runs off six hits and six strike outs.
