Kelsi Ebert was a floor leader who played back-to-back 40-minute games over the weekend and steadied the ship during the team’s first three road games to earn her 8th career Hawk of the Week honor.
The senior point guard led the women’s basketball team in minutes played (117), scoring (43), 3-pt FG made (5), FT made (14), assists (17) and steals (8). She averaged 39 mpg, 14.3 ppg, shot 77.8% from the foul line, and dished 5.7 assists per game.
Ebert chipped in 17 points and added six assists in the season opener at Elmira (70-62), added 13 points and seven more assists against Eastern Mennonite (65-60) and closed the week with 16 points and as one rebound shy of a double-double (9 rebs) in her second 40-minute game of the tournament.
