Ed Minkel earns his first Athlete of the Week honor after he led his Hawks soccer team to a 3-1 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference victory over D’Youville College. The senior striker battled back from a mid-season injury to score two goals October 25th. The Hamburg native took two passes from Jon Davison and placed them to the opposite corner of the Spartan goal to earn not only his first, but also his second score of the season.
