Hilbert College Athletics

Jerame Owens completed his four-year Hilbert career with another Hawk of the Week honor.

The agile forward averaged 18.5 points and 13 rebounds as he led his Hawks to their third consecutive AMCC championship game.  He sank 47% of his shots from the floor, connected on 88% at the foul line and averaged three assists per game.

The Spencerport native scored 21 points, and added six rebounds as well as four assists in Hilbert’s semifinal win over Pitt-Bradford.  In the championship game, Owens netted 16 points but grabbed a season-high eight offensive rebounds (20 total) and was credited with four blocks in the loss.

For his efforts, Owens was named to the AMCC All-Tournament team.
