Tyler Sieczkarek earned his first Hawk of the Week honor as he contributed to the men’s volleyball team’s first North Eastern Athletic Conference victory of the season January 28.

The first-year Hawk was steady force at the net against D’Youville.  His offensive presence and defensive play aided the visitors in their 3-0 victory early in the season.

Sieczkarek finished the match with eight kills with only one hitting error in 13 attempts, at a .538 attack percentage clip.  He also was credited with three block assists which slowed the Spartans offense. 

Sieczkarek added one service ace and three digs to move the Hawks to a 3-1 overall record.
