Junior Amanda Binder earned her first Hawk of the Week honor this year after being named to the Blue Devil Invitational volleyball All-Conference team over the weekend.

The Middle Hitter collected 20 kills almost 50% of Hilbert’s 42 total kills performance through nine sets played at the Fredonia State campus.  She also posted 40 digs (4.44 digs per set) and one block assist in matches against SUNY Canton, Fredonia and Ithaca College.

For the week, Binder averaged 2.38 kill per set (31 kills) to post a .126 attack percentage through four matches.  She also led the Hawks with 48 digs (3.69 digs per set) with a total of three blocks when scanning the Hawks AMCC match against Medaille College September 30.
