Sahba Yaghma joins Hilbert’s staff as Assistant Women’s Coach ahead of the Hawks’ 2026 season. Yaghma brings years of coaching experience across Western New York & Europe, previously as Head Coach for Amherst Travel Soccer’s U10 & U16 programs, & attending sessions in Europe for experience.
Looking ahead to his new role, Yaghma says, “I’m excited to join Coach Callaghan at Hilbert. I’m looking forward to helping build something special for this school, community, & these students.”
A player with both domestic & international experience, Yaghma began his competitive career at Townshend International School in Hluboká nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, before returning to Western New York, where he played varsity soccer at Williamsville East High School, & Collegiate Level at Erie Community College.
Yaghma holds a U.S. Soccer Federation License for the 4v4, 7v7, & 11v11 levels & is currently advancing his USSF licensing. He is SafeSport trained & certified in Positive Soccer Environments & maintains active affiliations with the NYSW Youth Association's.
