Cole Klubek added Maddie Norton to his inaugural Women’s Ice Hockey Coaching staff in June 2022. Norton has a proven track record for making sure she gets the job done and will assist Klubek in the October launch of the new Division III program.
Western New Yorker Norton played college hockey with University at Buffalo's ACHA club team where she was the team captain and club's Vice President.
She earned her Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences degree from UB in 2019 and then started Maddie Norton Sports Performance where she trains athletes to become the best versions of themselves on and off the ice.
Norton played professionally with the Buffalo Beauts in the NWHL. She's traveled around the United States as a hockey coach with Planet Hockey's camps and clinics.
