Recent 2013 University at Buffalo graduate Kyle Perla joins the Hilbert College men’s basketball staff for the 2014-15 season. Perla will assist with practice and game day preparations, while providing support with recruiting and scouting upcoming opponents.
Perla most recently served as head coach of the Buffalo Titans 15-U AAU program. He’s held stints as an assistant junior varsity and varsity coach at his alma mater - Orchard Park High School where he currently holds the all-time assist record. A basketball camp enthusiast, Perla has also worked numerous summer basketball camps and AAU tournaments around the greater western, New York region.
As a student at the University at Buffalo, Perla served as the Bulls team manager where he assisted with practice drills, scout team preparations, and the filming of practices, before eventually becoming a walk-on member of the team during his senior year.
Perla holds a B.A. in history.
