Connor Priester

Connor Priester enters his first season as a volunteer assistant baseball coach during the 2023-24 academic year. The Medaille ’19 alum will be tasked with overseeing the Hawks catchers and infield.

Outside of Hilbert, Priester works full-time with the Academy Stars as the Director of Player Development while serving as a showcase head coach and instructor. Priester is also tasked with handling camps, clinics, website maintenance and social media components in addition to his coaching responsibilities for the Stars.

The former Maverick served as an assistant baseball coach at Medaille during the 2022-23 academic year after serving as an assistant sports information director at Penn State Behrend and Medaille over the two years prior to coaching.

Priester was a four-year starter during his time at Medaille, ranking in the Top 10 All-Time in multiple offensive and defensive statistical categories. During his senior campaign, he became the 16th player in program history to surpass the 100-career hit milestone while finishing the year with a .361 batting average and .451 on-base percentage.

Priester graduated from Medaille in May 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management.
