Anthony Ballistrea returned for his second stint as an assistant coach in in the spring of 2025 after previously serving under coach Fittry during the 2021 thorugh 2023 seasons.
Prior to his time at Hilbert, Ballistrea served as an assistant varsity baseball coach at Kenmore West High School prior to Hilbert. In his first year with the program, they captured the Niagara Frontier League Championship. Two years later, the program won their first-ever Section VI Class A Title while being ranked 4th in the New York State Class A rankings. During his tenure at Kenmore West, Ballistrea has also helped resurrect the schools' modified baseball program, posting a 10-3 record in their first year.
In addition to his time coaching high school ball, Ballistrea coached All In Sports AAABA and MUNY AAA teams. He currently serves as the New York State Section 8 American Legion Administrator, as well as a private instructor at All In Sports training facility in Cheektowaga, NY, all while founding a startup recruiting and scouting agency, East Coast Pipeline. Anthony currently resides in Cheektowaga, NY.
