D3 WEEK DAY 4: CELTICS HEADLINE ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

HAMBURG, N.Y. - Academic Honors continue to headline the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) spotlight on day four of the NCAA Division III Week.

Carlow University heads the AMCC 2026 academic all-conference team with 74.8% of their athletes qualifying, earning the Institutional Peak Performer Award for the second time in three years.

The percentage of student-athletes qualifying for academic all-conference honors bests the AMCC record set by Mount Aloysius College in 2025.

The Celtics also captured eight Team Peak Performer awards (men's soccer, women's soccer, women's volleyball, women's cross country, women's tennis, men's tennis, men's golf, and women's basketball), which recognizes the team with the highest collective cumulative GPA in each sport.

Penn State Behrend is the runner up to Carlow, with a 61.65% of their student-athletes qualifying.  The Lions earned Team Peak Performer recognition in the sports of men's basketball and baseball.  Hilbert College ranked third (59.6%) with women's bowling and women's lacrosse earning their respective sports' highest academic distinction.

Across the conference, 1,129 student-athletes achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher as of the Fall 2025 semester, the standard to earn academic all-conference honors.

Sixty four percent (721) of those individuals were tabbed Individual Peak Performers for earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher.  A special subset of those student-athletes were also selected for induction to Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Collegiate Student-Athlete Honor Society, which recognizes both academic performance, leadership and character for selected juniors and seniors.

Hilbert is pleased to announce that 118 student-athletes earned a spot on the AMCC Academic All-Conference team, and 51 of those Hawks attained a 3.5 or higher.

Within this group of high-achieving Hilbert student-athletes, 28 Hawks will be inducted into the New York Theta Chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma National Collegiate Student-Athlete Academic Honor Society this April. This honor recognizes academic performance, leadership, and character among juniors and seniors who carry a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. These 28 student-athletes will join 24 senior classmates who were induced in 2025.

Congratulations  to these twenty nine  student-athletes who achieved a 4.0 Fall 2025 semester gpa:
