ELMIRA, N.Y. — Hilbert Women's Volleyball tacked two more match wins this week after beating Elmira College twice today at Speidel Gymnasium.
The Hawks recorded a 3-0 sweep in the 11 am contest before shifting their line up while still beating the Soaring Eagles in the night cap (3-1).
Hilbert improved their overall record to 10-6 with just three more non-conference contests to go before the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action begins in 12 days.

Team Highlights:
- Hilbert hit .098 as a team while holding Elmira to a -.024 hitting percentage.
- The Hawks tallied 28 kills, 22 aces, and 5 blocks in a well-rounded team effort.
- Hilbert's serving game was a major factor, racking up 22 service aces, including 5 from Michaela Rice and 4 each from Jade Schiller and Molly McKinnon.

- Hilbert hit .224 as a team while holding Elmira to a .098 hitting percentage.
- The Hawks tallied 53 kills, 18 aces, and 3 blocks in a well-rounded team effort.
- Hilbert's serving game was a major factor, recording another high double-digit performance, but they also gave away 17 points off service errors.
Top Performers:
- Madigan reached double digit kills, leading the way with 12 while Riley O'Neill chipped in a career-high nine.
- MacKenzie Mitchell shined as the setter, racking up 29 assists followed by Madigan (9) and Schiller (7) who also added a team-best 10 digs.
- McKinnon (8), Madigan (7) and Mitchell (7) each were active on defensive keeping the action moving with first touches off attacks.
- Lezly McComber each recorded two more block solos in the night cap.
Hilbert returns to the Hafner Recreation Center this week when they host SUNY Fredonia on Tuesday, September 23rd with a 7 pm first serve.
