Box Score COBLESKILL, N.Y. — Hilbert Women's Soccer earned a dominant 2-0 victory over SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon, extending their winning streak this week after a commanding performance at the back and in the attacking third.
The Hawks controlled the tempo from the opening whistle, outshooting the Fighting Tigers 22-1 and finishing with 12 shots on goal compared to none for the hosts.
Scoring Summary:
- 1st Half (20') – Mikaylah Nissan opened the scoring for Hilbert with an unassisted strike, her first of the season, putting the Hawks up 1-0.
- 2nd Half (73') – Ja'Lynn Sanders doubled the lead off a crisp assist from Madison Matuszak, sealing the game for Hilbert.
Hilbert's pressure and possession left little room for Cobleskill to operate. The Hawks earned four corner kicks and forced two Cobleskill goalkeepers into making 10 saves across 90 minutes.
Keira McFarland recorded her second clean sheet this season. The Hawks' backline, led by

Hilbert improved to 3-3-1 on the season and will return home next week to take on SUNY Delhi Tuesday, September 23rd when the Hawks will host a Senior Day celebrating prior to their 4 pm kick off.
