HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Hilbert Women's Volleyball delivered a dominant road performance Tuesday evening, sweeping Houghton University in straight sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-21) at the Nielsen Center.
Tonight's victory marks the program's first win over the Highlanders dating back to 2010 when Houghton transitioned from an NAIA scholarship program to NCAA Division III status.

Led by a balanced attack, the Hawks used strong service games and efficient offense to take control early and never look back.

Molly McKinnon and
Jenna Revak paced the offense while
Jessee Jonathan set the tempo quarterbacking the team.
The Hawks jumped out to a 6-point lead fueled by a 7-point run which started with back-to-back service aces by
Jessee Jonathan. Hilbert extended their hold to 10 points and settled in for the 25-22 win.
Houghton looked in control in the second set maintaining an edge until Hilbert took a 19-16 lead and never looked back.
That confidence carried into the final set as the Hawks matched the scored early and rolled to the match victory.
