HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Men's Lacrosse recorded their first shutout victory since the 2023 season after they earned a 16-0 win at La Roche University.
The Hawks pulled away by intermission but added six goals in the third quarter to seal the deal and extended their record to 16-2 against the Redhawks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- DiMaria put three points on the board over a four-minute span before Newman and Franko set the 5-0 score by the start of second quarter.
- DiMaria did all the scoring damage in the second quarter which lifted the Hawks by eight goals at half time.
- Newman netted three times in the third and he had help by Franko, Sage and DiMaria.
- Roustum and Sage finished the scoring late in the fourth quarter.
GAME NOTES
The Hawks dominated the ground game building a 41-25 margin in ground balls, doubled the Redhawks in shots and tripled them in shots on goal while winning 14 of 20 faceoffs.
