UTICA, N.Y – Hilbert College Women's Lacrosse opened their 2025 season with a tough 15-1 road loss at SUNY Poly on the Wildcat Field
After falling behind 11-1 by intermission, the Hawks limited the Wildcats to just four second-half scores in their first appearance on turf this season.
Jessee Jonathan tallied the solo Hilbert goal after a successful clear with just over three minutes left in the opening quarter.
Olivia Cleary recorded 10 saves in defeat,
Skyler Holzman led with six ground balls and five caused turnovers while Jonathan secured two draw controls.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After building a 5-goal lead, Jonathan put the Hawks on the scoreboard.
- The Wildcats finished the game on a 10-goal run as they improved to 1-1.
- Samantha Accurso worked for three shots on goal, Jonathan (3 CT) and Gabby Calandra earned four ground balls each.

Hilbert heads to Keuka College next Friday, March 14th for a 4pm first draw.
