- Miyah Lopez became the first Hilbert baserunner in top of the 3rd but was stranded there by the time Albion picked up their bats again. The Brittons plated two more runs in the bottom half and tacked one more in the 4th as they maintained a shutout lead.
- The Hawks came alive in the top of the 5th after Heppel and Soliz each singled before Grace Schwarzkopf's poke to center field scored Heppel.
- Albion pounded in five runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the win.
Kailey Stolowski took the loss after 2.1 innings while tossing the only Hilbert strike out.
GAME TWO
- Yadov got out of the fourth inning with two runners in scoring position to keep it a scoreless game.
- The Hawks put three runs on the board in bottom of the 4th and 5th which ultimately secured the 6-2 victory.

- Then, with bases load in the bottom of the 5th, Soliz singled to the outfield which scored Lacki and Yadov. Brooke Feliciano pinch hit and knocked in the final run of the game.
