WEBSTER, N.Y. - Hilbert Bowling went 1-3 at the Roc City Classic one-day tournament hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University at Bowlero Lanes.
The Hawks (8-54) recorded a 769-762 total pin fall win over D'Youville University at the end of the day after dropping matches to Niagara University (855-766), Roberts Wesleyan (908-763) and William Smith College (847-734).
HILGHLIGHTS
Paige Mullen had the hot hand today, rolling a team-high 200 - against D'Youville - to finish with a 172.7 average over three matches.
Paige Angle knocked over the most pins (793), as the only Hawk to compete in all five matches (4 vs opponents, plus a blind draw) earning a 158.6 average.
Katelyn Bean was the second highest average today, tossing her best, a 178 in the blind draw match – to finish with a 159.3 average.

Hilbert will now focus on their final match of the season – but the most important one in program history.
The No. 6 Hawks will face No. 3 Penn State Behrend in the single-elimination match at the start of the AMCC Mega Match Championship Tournament on March 21st at Pine Plaza Lanes in Greensburg, Pa. The winner advances into a double-elimination tournament which will run through Sunday, March 23rd.
