HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Men's Volleyball welcomed Elmira College to WNY tonight for their home opening game of the 2025 season.
The Hawks, playing in front of a Hawks Nest 'white-out crowd' suffered a 3-0 setback to the 8-0 Soaring Eagles who dominated from the service line tonight.

7 pm vs Elmira Soaring Eagle
- Hilbert finished the three-set match with a season low 20 points off 16 kills (15 errors) and a .012 attack percentage while the Soaring Eagles collected 32 kills (16 errors) with a .168 attack performance
- The Hawks recorded one block, three service aces, 16 assists and 35 digs.
- Tyler Hassell finished with .200 hitting off five kills
- Jacob Sehn and George Muriel led with eight dig each as Muriel finished the match with 13 assists.
UP NEXT
The Hawks head to Chambersburg, PA for a tri-match at Wilson College Sunday. After their 11:00 am against Wilson, Hilbert will face Hood College for the first time in program history.
