ELMIRA, N.Y. - Hilbert College Men's Volleyball gave the 13-1 Soaring Eagles a battle tonight when the Hawks traveled for a non-conference rematch at Elmira College.
Hilbert scored more points this time, but they were unable to cover the aggressive attacks of the hosts as they suffered a straight-set loss.

NEWS and NOTES
The Hawks hosted Elmira in their 2025 home opener February 2 and scored a total of 47 points on the score board (25-15, 25-21, 25-11) while earning only 20 points off 16 kills, three aces and one block.
Tonight, on the road they should some growth and confidence earning 34 points off their own performance.
Hilbert finished the three-set match with 25 kills (8 errors) and a .283 attack percentage while the Soaring Eagles collected 42 kills (8 errors) with a .425 attack performance.
The Hawks recorded three blocks, six service aces, 25 assists and 23 digs.
- Brad Converse put on a show recording nine kills off 17 attempts with zero attack errors (.529) and added two service aces.
- Nickolas D'Andrea chipped in seven kills, also posted two aces and secured the only Hilbert solo block.
- Mehkai Francis and George Muriel combined for both of Hilbert's block assists while Muriel finished with 22 assists.
- Converse, Michael Pozzuto and Garyson Gaud all finished with four digs each.

The Hawks return to Hamburg this weekend for another trimatch series in the Hafner Recreation Center.
Hilbert will face Wilkes University (7-13) for the first time in program history at 11:00 am. The Colonels will than face SUNY Potsdam at 1:00 pm and the day concludes with Hilbert facing Potsdam at 3:00 pm. The Hawks earned a 3-0 win February 22 over SUNY Potsdam (3-6) at the trimatch in Utica over the weekend.
