CRESSON, PA – Hilbert College Women's Basketball took on Mount Aloysius College this afternoon inside the Convocation & Wellness Center for the final game of the 2024-2025 campaign for the Hawks.

Hilbert connected on a better percentage both at the line and from deep than the Mounties, but the hosts used advantages in second chance points (13-0) and points off turnovers (27-7) to take this AMCC matchup 70-41.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Hilbert worked to chip away at the Mountie lead as Jessee Jonathan and LaDasia Leak each scored early in the second quarter. Despite five more points in the frame from Schlagenhauf, and a deep make from Johnson, the Hawks found themselves in a 44-22 hole heading into the break.
  • The Mounties used a 12-4, low-scoring third quarter to extend their lead heading into the final ten minutes of the game.
  • Hilbert enjoyed its' best offensive showing of the game in the fourth quarter with a 15-point effort. Mackenzie Catan caught fire late in the quarter with a trio of three pointers, while Schlagenhauf added four points, and Kylie Morgan made a pair of late free throws.
