ROCHESTER, NY – Hilbert College Women's Hockey traveled to Tim Horton's Iceplex this afternoon to take on the nationally-ranked Golden Flyers of Nazareth University.
The late offense from a day ago carried over for the Golden Flyers as the hosts used seven first period goals to sweep the weekend series with a 13-0 victory.
The Hawks used three goalies in the contest, with each netminder receiving a busy period of play, as Nazareth fired off 75 shots on goal in the game.
Tia Card started the game for Hilbert and made 19 saves in her 20 minutes of action.
Brook Thompson and
Jewely Monford split the final two periods, making 26 and 17 stops respectively.
Offensively,
Brooke Kwiecien led Hilbert with a pair of shots, while
Sophia Perry and
Jacqueline Alaburda each recorded a shot. In front of the three goalies,
Caitlin Conrad and Alaburda worked to keep the puck away from their net, with three and two blocks respectively.

The Hawks close their season on Wednesday, February 12
th at Riverworks with a matchup against Hockey Training Institute. Puck drop is set for 7 pm at the outdoor venue.
