HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College senior Drew Mascio has been selected to the 2025 Western New York Amateur Football Alliance (WNYAFA) College Football Scholar-Athlete Team.

The WNYAFA honors an elite group of football scholar-athletes from collegiate and scholastic programs across Western New York.

Mascio joined the Hawks in 2024 after transferring to Hilbert following his rookie season at SJFU. The 6-foot-1 senior offensive lineman started all 11 games while wearing the white and royal and consistently showcased outstanding effort and performance both on and off the field.

In the classroom, Mascio excelled academically, posting a 3.673 GPA through five semesters at Hilbert. He was named to the Empire 8 President's List last winter and was inducted into the New York Theta Chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma Student-Athlete Academic Honor Society in April 2025.

Mascio will graduate this May with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish. He plans to pursue a career as a Customs and Border Protection agent.

The WNYAFA Awards Banquet was held Monday, December 8 at Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant.
