HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Liberty League released the 2025 Football Postseason honors this afternoon and three Hawks earned All-Conference recognition.

Senior defensive lineman Clifford Zeigler (Buffalo, NY/Cardinal O'Hara | SUNY Erie) was placed on the Second-Team Defense, while sophomore running back Mike Hanlon (Brocton, NY/Dunkirk) and senior offensive lineman Tavi Cruz (Buffalo, NY/South Park) were named as Offensive Honorable Mentions.

Union's Patch Flanagan took home the conference's Offensive Player of the Year honor, while the Garnet Chargers' coaching staff was named Coaching Staff of the Year. Joe Spirra from Ithaca was selected Defensive Player of the Year, Hobart's Vicente Lyon was tabbed Special Teams Player of the Year, and Jeadi Higdon from Buffalo State earned Rookie of the Year.

Zeigler, a four-year Hawk, earned his first career postseason honor after anchoring the Hilbert defensive in his final season. The 6-2 interior lineman recorded 37 total tackles while leading the Hawks with 11 tackles for a loss and a pair of sacks. Zeigler also added a quarterback hurry, a forced fumble, and a successful two-point conversion rush this fall.

Hanlon and Cruz were each named as offensive honorable mentions for their contributions to Hilbert's running game that totaled 2,002 yards on the season and finished top three in the Liberty League in total rushing yards.

Cruz started all ten games at left tackle for a Hilbert offensive line that allowed just six sacks on the year. The Hawks averaged over 33 minutes of offense and 170 yards a game behind Cruz's blocking.

Hanlon led the team with 138 carries and 526 yards on the ground while also adding 56 receiving yards. Hanlon, who was named to the Empire 8 Second Team a year ago, adds a second postseason honor after just two seasons with the Hawks. The 5-10 running back tallied 357 yards in Liberty League play which was good for seventh in the conference.
