HAMBURG, N.Y. — Hilbert College Football wrapped up Liberty League play this afternoon, falling 63–6 to visiting Hobart College at St. Francis High School. The contest also marked the final home game of 2025 for the Hawks, and the team honored seniors

Hobart's set the tone early in the contest, grabbing the game's first two scores on touchdown runs from E.J Taylor to open up a 14-0 advantage in the second quarter.
The Hawks would respond to make it a one-score game, as
Christian Hamilton Jr. broke free for a 25-yard touchdown run, capping a seven-play, 45-yard drive and making it 14-6 late in the first half.
However, the Statesmen had an answer of their own, as a pair of scoring drives, capped off by a touchdown as time expired on the half, sent the Hawks into the locker room down 28-6.
The second half belonged to the visitors as Hobart tacked on five more scores in the game's final 30 minutes to wrap up the 63-6 Liberty League victory.
Hamilton Jr. led the Hawks on the ground with 73 rushing yards on just five carries, averaging 14.6 yards per attempt.
Mike Hanlon and
Joseph Edick added key contributions in the backfield, combining for 66 yards rushing on the day.
Defensively,
Scotty Winchell paced the Hilbert defense with six total tackles, while
Zach Brown,
Clifford Zeigler, and
Da'von Cockrell each added four stops. Zeigler also recorded the team's lone tackle for loss.
