HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Athletics Department is pleased to announce the Hilbert College Athletes of the Week for November 24, 2025.
Victoria Battaglia (Women's Ice Hockey) and Jayden Montgomery (Men's Basketball) were recognized for their athletic performances during their respective team's run last week.
Victoria Battaglia (Brampton, Ontario, CAN/St. Thomas Aquinas) recorded the first two goals of her career in the second period of Saturday's 5–2 defeat to Albertus Magnus College. The rookie forward led the offensive effort, winning 25 of 56 faceoffs during the program's inaugural UCHC series against the Falcons. The 5-7 sparkplug also contributed defensively, registering six blocked shots across the two-game set.
Jayden Montgomery (Nashua, NH/Nashua | Plymouth State) propelled the Hawks to a pair of non-conference wins last week. The 6-2 junior point guard averaged 10.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals, and 9.5 assists per game, helping the Hawks improve to 5–1. Montgomery shot 7-for-12 from the field while posting five steals and nine assists against Houghton, then followed with 10 assists and four steals in a last-second victory over Keuka.
