KENMORE, N.Y. - Hilbert Bowling returned to Classic Lanes for a day of Baker matches on day 2 of the Hilbert Hammer Classic.
The Hawks suffered four total pin fall baker losses today to Niagara, Mercyhurst, William Smith and D'Youville before playing in the positional round playoff game against D'Youville at the end of the day.
Hilbert finished in 8th place overall after suffering a 4-2 best-of-seven baker match the the Saints.
The Hawks threw their highest pin total (197) against D'Youville in the night cap and recorded their highest match score (839) against Mercyhurst.
Hilbert heads to the semester break at 17-28 and are only three wins away from setting a new program Win record. They are chasing the 2023-24 Hawks who finished the year at 19-40.
The Hawks return to action in January when they head to Lansing, Michigan to compete in the DIII Bowling National Invite at Royal Scot Lanes January 23 – January 25th, 2026.
